This matcha tea shop is located inside Mitsuwa Marketplace. They sell very high quality Japanese matcha from Kyoto. They have multiple varieties of matcha drinks and ice cream and desserts. There is quite a difference in flavor of matcha since the tea powder are authentic. Parking is plenty in the outside lot. It’s probably more healthy option versus the super sweet boba tea drinks that are sold elsewhere.
The matcha latte is so good! And can’t get wrong with their matcha soft serve, it is not that sweet and strong matcha flavored

The matcha was very flavorful. It was sweet, yet the slight bitterness gave it a special aroma. The ice cream was really creamy and smooth. Just one thing to keep in mind—if you're sensitive to tea caffeine, this will definitely keep you awake for a long time.
Authentic matcha here. Reminds me of my days in Japan. Agree aboutthe guy cashier from other post. But I’m not sure if she is talking about the same person. He wasn’t rude to me but he didn’t have customer service. I hope the owner, if they are Japanese will train the staff here the Japanese customer service, omotenashi.
Rating Yamari a 5 out of 5! Had an opportunity to try their latest item on the menu, the Einspanner Matcha Latte. Definitely surpasses all the matcha lattes that I have tried! It was a combination of light sweet and partially bitter — the concoction is absolutely divine and perfect. Yamari may be the best place to grab matcha lattes, matcha parfait, matcha tea and matcha soft serve in California. Highly recommend!
Very delicious green tea matcha soft serve. This is legitimately an adult taste because it is not sweet whatsoever. Come early because some of their specialty items such as parfait might be sold out. They have a famous brand and very high quality from Japan so I recommend buying the matcha powder for tea at home.
Yamari has AMAZING matcha. It’s located inside Mitsuwa Market next to the del amo fashion center mall. Their matcha lattes was one of the best I’ve had - the matcha flavor is strong and really authentic so it stands out from the other matcha lattes I’ve had. They have a variety of matcha lattes and matcha desserts - their matcha soft serve was fantastic and flavorful as well. The portions are small but definitely enough. It’s more so on the pricier side but the quality is there. Great place to satisfy matcha cravings and to get a small dessert after your meal at mitsuwa!
